Model service blueprints

As a service designer, create and manage blueprints, which are predefined service templates that can be used as standalone services or as building blocks within a larger service. You can view these blueprints in the BMC Helix AIOps and BMC Helix Discovery.

For more information, see Modeling-service-blueprints.

Model services

A service model is a visual representation of a business service, and is a collection of components or configuration items (CIs) and the relationships between them. As a service designer, create and manage service models in  BMC Helix AIOps and view them in BMC Helix AIOps and BMC Helix Discovery.

For more information, see Modeling-services.

Integrate BMC and third-party by using BMC Helix Developer Tools

BMC Helix Portal includes a new tile, BMC Helix Developer Tools. This tile contains the TrueSight Operations Management, Dynatrace, and SolarWinds integrations that were configured by using earlier versions of BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations. The Dynatrace and SolarWinds integrations continue to work with 22.1. However, you can no longer configure new instances of these integrations. We recommend that you use BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations 22.1 to configure new instances.

BMC Helix Developer Tools enables you to do the following:

  • Build custom integrations for the third-party solutions for which out-of-the-box integrations are not available.
  • Collect logs from files.

For more information, see Integrating-by-using-BMC-Helix-Developer-Tools.

Integrate third-party solutions by using BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations

As a tenant administrator, you can configure third-party integrations by using BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations to get event and topology data from these solutions. You can view this data in BMC Helix AIOps, BMC Helix Operations Management, and BMC Helix Dashboards, and derive actionable insights.

BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations supports the following third-party solutions out of the box:

  • Aternity
  • Dynatrace
  • Microsoft SCOM
  • New Relic
  • SolarWinds NPM

For more information, see Integrating-by-using-BMC-Helix-Intelligent-Integrations.
