  This documentation supports the 22.1 version of BMC Helix Single Sign-On, which is available only to BMC Helix customers (SaaS). To view an earlier version, select the version from the Product version menu.

After you complete the preparing for installation tasks, you can install BMC Helix Single Sign-On. Use one of the available methods to install Remedy SSO:

(Recommended) Use a standard installation wizard available with the installation package. 

Create the options.txt file, and run the installer from the command line. 

Run scripts to install and configure the server and database for BMC Helix SSO.

Important

To perform a fresh installation on a server that already has BMC Helix SSO, you must uninstall the existing instance of BMC Helix SSO.

You can upgrade BMC Helix SSO if a version to be installed is later than the already installed version.
