Installing BMC Helix SSO silently

Silent installations are used to deploy BMC Helix Single Sign-On to multiple systems. Silent installation of BMC Helix Single Sign-On involves generating an options file and then running the installer in silent mode.

The following sections provide steps to generate an options file and to run the installer in silent mode.

Before you begin

Perform all the tasks described in Preparing-for-installation.

To create an options.txt file

Generate an options.txt file.
Copy the options that you want to install, and enter the installation parameters into the Templates for the options.txt filefile.
(Linux) Ensure that no Ctrl+M characters were inserted in the options.txt file.

To run the BMC Helix SSO installer in silent mode

Run the BMC Helix SSO installer with the -i silent:
