Managing EC2 instances in AWS

BMC Helix Intelligent Automation connects with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enable you to terminate, start, or stop your AWS Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances. 

You create automation policies to remediate events that appear in event monitoring solutions, BMC Helix AIOps and BMC Helix Operations Management. Operators in BMC Helix AIOps request for automations when AWS EC2 related events appear in the solution. 

As an automation engineer, you create a policy that includes the action to remediate the event. You can also create a policy based on the event data that gets saved in the BMC Helix Intelligent Automation database.
