Kubernetes is an open-source system for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. You can connect with Kubernetes by using an on-premises or a cloud connector.
BMC Helix Intelligent Automation connects with BMC Helix Capacity Optimization to enable modifying Kubernetes deployment sizing based on the recommended settings. The Overallocated containers recommendation in BMC Helix Capacity Optimization identifies containers with underutilized resources (CPU or memory). When administrators are sure about implementing the recommendations, they can send the details to BMC Helix Intelligent Automation for an automatic resizing. For this scenario, an automation engineer must configure the Kubernetes connector and create a policy to resize the Kubernetes containers.
