Onboarding and implementing

BMC Helix AIOps is a subscription-based service.  It enables you to monitor system health, reduce event noise, perform root cause isolation for impacted services, and boosts the remediation opportunities with machine learning and automation analytics of your integrated environment.

Launch BMC Helix AIOps

When your account is created, you receive a URL and the credentials to log in to BMC Helix Portal.

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Portal.
  2. Click the BMC Helix Service Monitoring tile.

Enable notifications in Microsoft Teams

Create notifications to send messages or cards to operators in Microsoft Teams, who can cross-launch into BMC Helix AIOps directly from Microsoft Teams.

Enable AIOps features 

Enable AIOps features to monitor and investigate AIOps Situations, perform root-cause isolation of impacted services, and enable communication with BMC Helix Intelligent Automation.

Configure service monitoring

Launch BMC Helix Discovery from the Manage Services page to create service models.

Start monitoring

Start monitoring key performance indicators, services, and situations. 

Time zone and locale preferences

In BMC Helix AIOps, the time zone and locale preferences are inherited from your browser preferences. For example, if your browser time zone is set to UTC, BMC Helix AIOps display the UTC time.
