RHEV menu commands

In PATROL console, menu commands (KM commands) are options to configure the knowledge module and discover virtualization components. Right-click an object to access its menu commands. The following topics describe the menus used in BMC PATROL for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization:

REV_Manager_Container menu

The following menu commands are available in the REV_Manager_Container application class:

Menu command	Description
Manage List of RHEV Managers	Enables you to add, modify, and delete Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Managers
Configure JAVA_HOME	Enables you to set the Java home directory for your own Java Runtime Environment (JRE) if you are not using the JRE that is installed with the PATROL Agent

REV_Manager menu

The following menu commands are available in the REV_Manager application class:

Menu command	Description
Manage Filters for RHEV Manager	Enables you to configure filters for data centers, clusters, hosts, and virtual machines for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Managers
Refresh parameters	Forces an update of all active parameter values for the REV_Manager application class
Force Discovery	Forces application discovery on the selected computer
Top Hosts > CPU	Lists top 10 hosts by CPU usage in a Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager
Top Hosts > Memory	Lists top 10 hosts by memory usage in a Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager
Top Virtual Machines > CPU	Lists top 10 virtual machines by CPU usage in a Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager
Top Virtual Machines > Memory	Lists top 10 virtual machines by memory usage in a Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager
Debug > PSL > Enable	Enables debugging for PATROL Scripting Language (PSL)
Debug > PSL > Disable	Disables debugging for PSL
Debug > Java > Enable	Enables debugging for the Java collector
Debug > Java > Disable	Disables debugging for the Java collector

REV_DataCenter menu

The following menu commands are available in the REV_DataCenter application class:

Top Hosts > Memory	Lists top 10 hosts by memory usage in a data center
Top Virtual Machines > CPU	Lists top 10 virtual machines by CPU usage in a data center

REV_Cluster menu

The following menu commands are available in the REV_Cluster application class:
