Standardize event data by using source-to-target value mapping

Use the Source value to target value option to map event fields to incident fields when you configure Proactive Service Resolution or create an automation policy. This capability normalizes inconsistent event data from multiple sources, reduces automation failures caused by mismatched values, and reuses automation policies and Proactive Service Resolution configurations across different environments and integrations.

Forward events from one BMC Helix Operations Management instance to another

Use the config.wrapEventsInPayload = false property to forward events from one BMC Helix Operations Management instance to another. By default, this field is set to true, which wraps an array of events in an event object. If you set it to false, events are forwarded in an unwrapped array of events, ensuring compatibility with the target BMC Helix Operations Management application. This capability simplifies multiple BMC Helix Operations Management deployments and eliminates the need for custom payload transformations.
