Configuring logs

This section explains how to change the log file name and log levels, and view them to help resolve application issues. 

To change log file names and log levels

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio.
  2. Click the Administration tab.
  3. In the Settings filter panel, expand Logger Configuration.
  4. From the list of loggers, select com.bmc.dsom.ai-foundation-service-lib.

  5. (Optional) In the File Name field, enter the custom log file name.
  6. From the Level list, select the appropriate logging level and click Save.

Contents of logs

The following log files are available. The timestamp format of the content is as follows:
yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSSZ
For example: 2025-01-29T15:20:15.000-0700

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
