View Log4j configuration in the Virtual Chat Administration Console
As an administrator, you can view the Log4j out-of-the-box settings and values in the Virtual Chat Administration Console. The physical Log4j file continues to be located at the following path:
Apache Tomcat webapps\<webapp>\WEB-INF\classes directory.

Enable or disable typing notifications for agents and end users
As an administrator, you can configure whether you want to display typing notifications when an agent or end user is typing in the chat window.
- If an agent and the end user are on different pods, by default, the notifications are displayed. You can disable the notifications.
- If an agent and the end user are on the same pod, by default, the notifications are always displayed and cannot be disabled.

BMC Virtual Chat in the Mid Tier is no longer supported
BMC Virtual Chat in the Mid tier is not supported in 21.05 patch 2 (21.05.02) and later versions. You must upgrade to Live Chat version 19.08, 19.11, 20.02, 20.08, 21.02, or 21.05 before deploying Live Chat version 21.05.02.
