Updating AIML files
BMC Virtual Chat and Program D are configured to watch for new, updated, or deleted AIML files. When Program D processes the AIML file, it creates a new file with a .pdml extension in the aiml folder. This PDML file is used to facilitate data exchange between BMC Virtual Chat and AIML.
- If a change to an existing AIML file is detected, Program D automatically loads that updated file and updates the corresponding PDML file. You do not need to restart the Java server.
- If a new AIML file is added, or an existing file is deleted, Program D automatically creates or deletes the corresponding PDML file. You do not need to restart the Java server.
