Recommended AIML tools
You can open and edit Artificial Intelligence Markup Language (AIML) files in any standard text editor, such as Notepad. However, as an AIML file gets larger, it might become difficult to read and manage in a standard editor. Errors increase and become harder to find. For these reasons, BMC recommends that you use an AIML editor, such as Gaitobot or XML Notepad. Both editors are built on the Microsoft .NET framework and require that .NET be installed.
- Gaitobot is a free AIML editor that has a built-in check feature to scan AIML categories and find errors. Its user interface includes a built-in workflow and easy-to-navigate screens. It is available for download from the following website: http://www.gaitobot.de
You might be required to register for the site before downloading this tool. - XML Notepad is a free XML editor with a simple intuitive user interface for browsing and editing XML documents. XML Notepad provides a tree view for quick editing of nodes and error correction. This tool is available for download from the Microsoft website at: http://www.microsoft.com
