Viewing BMC Helix Dashboards in the BMC Helix AIOps console

BMC Helix Dashboards offer unified reporting and give you a consolidated view of data from applications across your environment. The consolidated view of dashboards helps operators or site reliability engineers (SREs) perform tasks such as responding to issues quickly so that system downtime is minimized.

Based on your organization's requirements, a tenant administrator can embed out-of-the-box or custom dashboards into the BMC Helix AIOps console, thus reducing the need to switch between applications and improving turnaround time for resolving issues. There's no limit to the number of dashboards that can be embedded in the console.

About embedding dashboards in BMC Helix AIOps

To configure your out-of-the-box or custom dashboards to embed in the BMC Helix AIOps console, contact BMC Support.

Let's understand how embedded dashboards help operators or SREs with the following scenario:

Information
Scenario

Jim is a NOC operator at Apex Global. Jim logs into the BMC Helix AIOps console to check the Service Health Dashboard for real-time insights into his service’s status. He immediately sees key widgets displaying the number of situations, the latest health score, service availability, and a health timeline tracking performance trends. Spotting a sudden drop in the health score, he clicks on the relevant widget to drill down into the underlying incidents. To tailor his view, Jim customizes the dashboard by adding a widget for historical anomaly trends, helping him identify recurring patterns. With this dynamic setup, Jim ensures proactive monitoring and faster issue resolution

These dashboards are available from the Dashboards page in the BMC Helix AIOps console, helping Jim visualize data in real time, gain insights into service health, and anticipate service availability without navigating away from the console.
