Logging in to the Support Agent Console

Support agents access the Support Agent Console from the BMC Remedy Mid Tier.

  1. Open a browser and enter the BMC Remedy Mid Tier URL provided by your system administrator.

  2. In the Login window, type your user name and password, and click Log In.
  3. From the IT Home page, select Applications > Virtual Chat > Support Agent Console.
  4. If this is the first time you have logged in to the Support Agent Console, provide the appropriate information in the Preferences form and then click OK.

BMC recommends

It is recommended to access the Support Agent Console by logging in to the IT Home Page by using the BMC Remedy Mid Tier URL.

When accessing the Support Agent Console by typing the form name in the mid tier URL, support agents must use the ES_Chat:SACLauncher form, and not the ES_Chat:SupportAgentConsole form.
