Uninstalling Real End User Experience Monitoring Software Edition

Note

BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring Software Edition version 11.0.00.002 is the latest version of the component and is compatible with TrueSight Operations Management 11.3.04.

You can uninstall the Real End User Experience Monitoring Software Edition by using a wizard or in silent mode.

To uninstall the Real End User Experience Monitoring Software Edition by using the wizard

  1. Log on to the system where you want to uninstall the Real End User Experience Monitoring Software Edition.
  2. In a command line, navigate to the folder where the software is installed.
    For example, the default installation directory is
    /opt/bmc/euem/UninstallBMCeuem
  3. Run the following command:
    ./uninstall.bin
  4. In the Welcome page, click Next.
  5. Select BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring Server 11.0.00.x Uninstallation and click Next.
  6. Click Uninstall.
  7. Click Done to exit the uninstaller wizard.
    A log file is available at the location specified in the Uninstallation Summary page.

To uninstall the Real End User Experience Monitoring Software Edition silently

  1. Log on to the system where you want to uninstall Real End User Experience Monitoring Software Edition.
  2. In a command line, navigate to the UninstallBMCeuem directory under the installation directory. 
    Example:
    cd /opt/bmc/euem/UninstallBMCeuem

  3. Run the following command:

    ./uninstall.bin -i silent -DOPTIONS_FILE=<Full File Path>/server-silent-options-linux-uninstall.txt
