Note: This is related only to the usage of Collection profiles

For a remote type collection profile, for example, TSIMServerCollectionProfileRemote_windows, the user must provide credentials for all the DCT (Data Collector Template). As the collection profiles in the content pack are not editable, you must duplicate the collection profile and update username and password. The same username and password can be saved under the Credentials tab and can be also be reused in DCT. This is a one time activity to be performed to use the remote type collection profiles.

The data ingested through the collectors created using the following collection profiles contains a tag "ApplicationContext =TrueSightInfrastructure". This tag helps in filtering the data coming from the Infrastructure Management source.

TSIMServerCollectionProfile_agent

Contains the data collector templates that can be applied on a host for remote data collection of TrueSight Infrastructure Management server where the IT Data Analytics Agent/KM is installed.
