Menu command

Description

Enable or disable monitoring

Allows you to enable or disable monitoring of the top Exchange Server mail receivers.

Configure top receivers

Displays the Configure top receivers dialog box. Use this dialog box to change the criteria that PATROL uses to monitor the number of receivers in your environment.

  • Select number of receivers to monitor: Select the number of mail receivers you want to monitor. The maximum number of receivers you can select for monitoring is 50, minimum number of receivers you can select for monitoring is 0. By default, this value is set to 5.
  • Select basis for identifying top receivers: Select the one of the following for identifying the receivers:

    • Messages count
    • Message size
  • Number of messages: Monitor top receivers based on the total number of messages
  • Message size: Monitor top receivers based on the total message size
