11.3.02 enhancements
systemd support for PATROL Agents on Linux
The systemd support is added to start and stop PATROL Agents running on the Linux operating system. PATROL Agents also support init.d used in earlier versions of the PATROL Agent.
Added operating system support
PATROL Agent 11.3.02 now supports the following operating systems:
- Debian 9.8, 9.5, 8.11
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6, x86-64, IBM® zSeries®, PPC64LE
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.10, x86-64, IBM® zSeries®, PPC64LE
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15, x86_64, PPC64LE
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12, x86-64, Intel Itanium, IBM® zSeries®, PPC64LE
- Oracle Enterprise Linux 7.5 and 7.6 are supported with the following kernel packages:
- Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel (UEK) Release 4 (kernel-uek-4.1.12-112.16.4.el7uek) for x86-64
- Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel (UEK) Release 2 (kernel-uek-2.6.39-400.294.3.el6uek) for x86-64
- Red Hat Compatible Kernel (kernel-3.10.0-862.el7) for x86-64
- Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.10 is supported with the following kernel packages:
- Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel (UEK) Release 4 (kernel-uek-4.1.12-124.16.4.el6uek) for x86-64
- Red Hat Compatible Kernel (kernel-2.6.32-754.el6) for x86-64
- CentOS 6.10
