Improve filtering and reporting of anomaly events
The Volume Anomaly and Anomaly Severity parameters in the Anomaly detection settings give you more control over how BMC Helix Log Analytics detects and reports anomalies.
Volume Anomaly helps you detect unusual spikes or drops in log volume by enabling or disabling volume‑based anomaly detection. Anomaly Severity lets you filter which anomalies trigger alerts, so you can focus on the issues that matter most.
These settings help you reduce alert noise, improve monitoring accuracy, and ensure timely visibility into important changes in your log data.
For more information, see Detecting anomalies from logs.
