(Controlled availability) Support for ClickHouse
BMC Helix Log Analytics supports ClickHouse for storing and retrieving logs. This integration optimizes storage utilization, improves log ingestion, and enhances query performance.
The integration requires a client-provisioned ClickHouse infrastructure. In BMC Helix Log Analytics, you can choose between Elasticsearch and ClickHouse as storage. However, for existing customers, enabling Clickhouse in your environment will result in data loss.
BMC Helix Log Analytics with ClickHouse as a storage supports the following capabilities:
- Log ingestion
- Setting up alert policies
- setting up anomaly detection
- New User Interface.
ClickHouse integration does not support the following capabilities:
- Log archival and restore
- Log insights
- Dashboards
