The following video (2:02) provides a high-level summary of the new features and enhancements in version 24.3 of BMC Helix Log Analytics.
Configure anomaly detection settings
As an administrator, configure settings to detect anomalies in your log data effectively. With these settings, customize anomaly detection according to your requirements, thereby improving anomaly detection results in your environment.
For more information, see Detecting-anomalies-from-logs.
Enhanced situational log insights
In BMC Helix AIOps, situational log insights are enhanced to provide meaningful summaries in natural language by using BMC HelixGPT. A log summary is provided for each host that is part of the events that form the situation.
From the Log Insights page, open the Explorer tab in BMC Helix Log Analytics for a deep-dive log analysis. Use BMC Helix Log Analytics and BMC Helix AIOps together to analyze a situation better and identify its root cause with greater precision.
For more information, see To view Log Insights.
Upgrade log connectors
As an administrator, upgrade Windows, Linux, and Docker connectors without affecting log ingestion. Use the Connectors page to understand which connectors are due for an upgrade and to upgrade them.

Enhanced multiline parsing for log collection
In file-type log collection policies, multiline parsing is enhanced to provide two levels of parsing. Bring in greater flexibility in log parsing by using a multiline parsing rule at the first level and a single-line parsing rule at the second level. Use field extraction or any other rule format for log parsing at the second level.
