Restrict user access to log data
Implement role-based access control to log data by assigning user groups to collection policies. With this feature, you can make sure that only those users with the correct role can access specific data.

With the uninstaller script, you can save the time that it takes to uninstall a connector and ensure that all residual connector files are deleted from your system.

Learn about updates to the Self Monitoring dashboard
The Self Monitoring dashboard in BMC Helix Dashboards contains the following enhancements:
- View the hot retention duration of a tenant in the Log Volume panel. With this enhancement, you can view all data related to logs in a single dashboard.
- Open the Event Details page in BMC Helix Operations Management from the Log Events panel. With this enhancement, you can quickly open an event from the dashboard for quicker resolution.

Upgrade to the OpenSearch platform
BMC Helix Log Analytics supports the OpenSearch platform version 1.3.x. OpenSearch is a distributed search and analytics engine that is based on Apache Lucene.
