26.1 enhancements and patches
BMC Helix applies upgrades as described in BMC Helix Service Update policy. BMC Helix applies upgrades and patches during Maintenance windows.
26.1.02
Connect with Splunk by using API token authentication
BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations supports Splunk authentication by using token-based mechanism. Use an API token to enable secure access to Splunk for both API and webhook mechanisms.
For more information, see Integrating with Splunk Enterprise via API and Integrating with Splunk Enterprise via webhook.

26.1.01
Connect with Dynatrace by using OAuth authentication
BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations supports Dynatrace authentication by using the OAuth mechanism. Use the OAuth client credentials to enable secure, OAuth-based access to Dynatrace.
For more information, see Integrating with Dynatrace via API.

Collect Dynatrace metrics for SERVICE_METHOD and SERVICE_METHOD_GROUP entity types
In addition to the existing entity types, collect metrics for the SERVICE_METHOD and SERVICE_METHOD_GROUP entity types from Dynatrace.
For more information, see Integrating with Dynatrace via API.

View metrics collected from Dynatrace in a hierarchical manner
Collect and view Dynatrace metrics data in BMC Helix Operations Management in a hierarchical structure by using a custom JSLT. Each host is represented as a device in BMC Helix Operations Management, and process group instances are represented as monitors, with related metrics organized hierarchically beneath them. This structure aligns with the way Dynatrace presents metrics, resulting in a more intuitive and consistent view. For more information about the custom JSLT, see Integrating with Dynatrace via API.
After you upgrade to version 26.1.01, existing connector instances and metrics are not updated automatically. You must either create a new connector instance or stop the current data stream and create a new one by using the custom JSLT.

Limit data ingested from VMware vROps to focus on high-value metrics
Use the Metric Category filter to collect data only for a specific category of metrics. For example, you can collect data only for the metrics that belong to the CPU and Memory category and focus only on those metrics.
For more information, see Integrating with VMware vROps.

View metrics collected from AppDynamics in a hierarchical manner
Collect and view AppDynamics metrics data in BMC Helix Operations Management in a hierarchical structure by using a custom JSLT. Each AppDynamics metric category appears as a single monitor, with related metrics organized hierarchically beneath it, instead of being shown as separate monitors. This structure aligns with the way AppDynamics presents metrics, resulting in a more intuitive and consistent view. For more information about the custom JSLT, see Integrating with AppDynamics.
After you upgrade to version 26.1.01, existing connector instances and metrics are not updated automatically. You must either create a new connector instance or stop the current data stream and create a new one by using the custom JSLT.

26.1.00
Deploy the on-premises gateway in Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift clusters
In addition to Docker and Podman, the deployment for the BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations on-premises gateway is supported in on-premises Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.
For more information, see Deploying the on-premises gateway in an on-premises Kubernetes or OpenShift cluster.
Route authentication requests via a proxy server
Use a proxy server to route authentication requests from the BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations on-premises gateway. Deploying a proxy server improves reliability and streamlines connectivity.
For more information, see Deploying the on-premises gateway on Docker containers or Deploying the on-premises gateway on Podman containers.

Collect v2 metrics from Dynatrace by using an improved mechanism
Collect only v2 metrics through the Dynatrace Metrics API v2, ensuring improved data collection performance.
For more information, see Integrating with Dynatrace via API.
Limit data ingested from Dynatrace to focus on high-value events, metrics, and topology
Use the Management Zone Regex filter to collect alerts, metrics, or topology data only for those entities that belong to a management zone.
For more information, see Integrating with Dynatrace via API.
