Collect events data from SNMP-managed devices

Collects traps from SNMP-managed devices and receive them as events in BMC Helix Operations Management.

Reduce event noise and measure the health of your system by processing the received events with BMC Helix Operations Management capabilities.

Collect metrics from Entuity in a hierarchical manner

Collect and view the Entuity metrics data in a hierarchical manner in BMC Helix Operations Management by using the Collect metrics including entity hierarchy option. For more information, see Integrating-with-Entuity-via-API.

After you upgrade to version 25.1.01, the existing connection instances in BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations and device metrics in BMC Helix Operations Management are not updated with this option automatically. You need to either create a new connection instance or stop the existing data stream and create a new data stream.

Customize JSLT to update metrics mapping between Prometheus and BMC Helix Operations Management

BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations applies a default JSLT to map the metrics received from Prometheus into metrics to the BMC Helix Operations Management attributes.

Customize the default JSLT if you want to update the mapping between the Prometheus metrics and the BMC Helix Operations Management attributes or to map the derived metrics in Prometheus to the BMC Helix Operations Management attributes.

Enable the JSLT field on the DISTRIBUTOR CONFIGURATION tab to enter the customized JSLT.

Improved Dynatrace metrics mapping

The following Dynatrace entities are mapped to their corresponding device types in BMC Helix Operations Management:

• Applications
• Processes 
• Process groups
• Services 

Earlier all of these entities were mapped to the Server device types.
