Agentic AI capabilities in BMC Helix Intelligent Automation


BMC Helix Intelligent Automation connects with BMC HelixGPT to provide AI capabilities that help enterprises improve collaboration, streamline and enhance IT operations, and resolve problems faster. The AI capability in BMC Helix Intelligent Automation is available as an LLM agent, Automation Curator, which operates autonomously while ensuring you get a human-in-the-loop experience.

Automation Curator connects to Ops Swarmer in Microsoft Teams to provide triage and remediation actions for IT infrastructure issues. Service desk agents, operators, or site reliability engineers (SREs) can use it to triage an incident in detail, identify the actual root cause, view recommended actions, and then run them to remediate an issue directly in Microsoft Teams. Automation Curator connects to BMC or third-party automation tools via BMC Helix Intelligent Automation. This connection makes sure that IT teams can leverage their existing tried-and-tested automation workflows. Before running any remediation actions, Automation Curator connects to BMC Helix ITSM to create change requests, and runs actions based on the change approvals thereby ensuring compliance with ITSM standards.
