Configuring the Ansible Tower cloud connector


Important

The cloud connector for this application is will be disabled until further notice. BMC recommends that you delete the cloud connector and configure the on-premises connector instead. For more information, see Configuring-the-Ansible-Tower-connector.

As an automation engineer, you configure the cloud connector to establish a connection between BMC Helix Intelligent Automation and Ansible Tower. 

To configure the Ansible Tower connector

  1. In the BMC Helix Intelligent Automation console, go to Connectors > Available Connectors.
  2. Click Configure against the Ansible Tower connector.  
  3. Enter a unique name.
  4. Enter the endpoint URL for the Ansible Tower application.
  5. Enter the username and password required to access the Ansible Tower application.
  6. Click Save.
    The connector is saved and appears under the Configured Connectors tab with the status as Connected.
    If the connector is not successfully connected, the status appears as 
    Disconnected
