pw certificate

Supported with 11.3.02 and later

The pw certificate command to create and import certificates is supported only with TrueSight Infrastructure Management version 11.3.02 and later.

The pw certificate command helps you to create, import, list, delete, and verify the Infrastructure Management certificates. These commands prompt you to enter a few basic details and the certificate creation and import happen without any further user intervention.

  • pw certificate create: Creates a private key pair and generates the certificate signing request (CSR) file. Prompts you to submit the CSR file to the CA of your organization for signing. 

  • pw certificate import: Imports the specified component's certificates into the respective keystore or truststore of the Infrastructure Management Server. 

  • pw certificate list: Lists the specified certificate details.

  • pw certificate delete: Deletes the specified certificate.
  • pw certificate verify: Verifies if a secure connection can be established between the Infrastructure Management Server and the specified component.
