Reviewing the Objects to Reconcile list
Using the Developer Studio, you can compare the snapshot of your current environment with the upgraded server and generate a list of objects to be reconciled.
The following table provides information about the list of objects that need reconciliation.
Objects | Description |
|---|---|
Name | Displays the object name that needs reconciliation. Note: Objects with a red mark specify that the overlay or the object is deleted. |
Form List | Displays Reconcile, if any associated form or primary form is modified in the new definition or overlay definition when compared to the old definition. For more information, see Associating workflow objects with forms in the BMC Remedy AR System online documentation. |
Field specific attributes (Not applicable for forms, workflows, menus) | Displays the following attributes for the field: Form, Field ID, if any field is modified in the new definition or overlay definition when compared to the old definition. |
View specific attributes (Not applicable for forms, workflows, menus) | Displays the following attributes for the view: Form, Field ID, View ID, View Label, View Locale, if any field view is modified in the new definition or overlay definition when compared to old definition. |
Permissions | Displays Reconcile if any permissions are modified in the new definition or overlay definition when compared to the old definition. For more information about permissions, see Associating workflow objects with forms in the BMC Remedy AR System online documentation. |
Other Definitions | Displays Reconcile if any other properties are modified in the new definition or overlay definition when compared to the old definition. |
Reconciled | Select the Reconciled check box when you are sure that you have completed reconciliation. This check list is for your reference to ensure that you have not missed any objects for reconciliation. |
The complete reconciliation list for each object is displayed in the Developer Studio after the comparison. You can double-click the object to view the Differences List
