Configuring the Flashboard server settings at a global level

You can also use the Flashboard Server Configuration form to configure the Flashboards server. This form shows the local-level value of the configuration. If a local value does not exist, the form displays the global-level configuration. If you modify the value on this form, the local-level configuration value is modified. For example, if a configuration shows a global level value and you modify the value by using this form, the local level value gets created for the configuration.
The server.config file allows you to configure only the Flashboards server name, port, and password. To configure the Flashboards service startup properties, the refresh interval properties, the logging options, and other properties, you must use the Flashboards Configuration form.
