Enabling prebuilt DevOps integration between Microsoft Azure DevOps and BMC Helix ITSM

As an administrator, you can integrate BMC Helix ITSM with Microsoft Azure DevOps to create tickets from one application to another by using BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker.

To enable this integration, you can use BMC Helix iPaaS, powered by Jitterbit or BMC Helix Integration Service as the underlying integration technology. In BMC Helix iPaaS, you use the out-of-the-box integration templates, deploy them to your BMC Helix iPaaS environment and update them, and run the integration. Whereas, in BMC Helix Integration Service, you configure the flows, connectors, and connector targets, and run the integration.

Best practice

We recommend that you use BMC Helix iPaaS to integrate BMC Helix ITSM with Azure DevOps because it is the go-forward integration solution for the BMC Helix Multi-Cloud Broker integrations.

Based on the type of ticket that you want to create, refer to the following topics to integrate BMC Helix ITSM with Azure DevOps:
