Reconciling customized views after the upgrade
If you have created custom views for BMC Helix Innovation Studio based Asset Console, Shared Ticket Console, and Calendar, and you upgrade to a newer version of BMC Helix ITSM, the customized views are not modified during the upgrade. To use the new features from the latest version, you can copy the latest out-of-the-box views and customize again, if only minor customizations are required. In case you have made some major customizations to the out-of-the-box views from previous versions, you can make the changes on these customized views to add the new features for the BMC Helix Innovation Studio based consoles and calendar.
As an administrator, you must perform the steps explained in the topics listed below to reconcile the custom views from old version with the new out-of-the-box views from latest version of BMC Helix ITSM, so that the latest updates and features are available to the end users.
