Enabling the opening of multiple tickets in new browser tabs

To enable the opening of multiple tickets in new browser tabs

1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio in Best Practice mode.
2. On the Workspace tab, click Applications.
3. Click ITSM Application.
4. On the Views tab, click the customized copy view of the default view Default IT Ticket Console SM.
   
   
   
   

5. From Basic components in Palette, add an Action button to the Record Grid.
   Update the general properties of the action button with values given in the following table:

   Property	Value
   Label	Open in new tab
   Style	Tertiary
   Size	Default
   Icon	Pop up
   Icon alignment	Left
   Available on devices	Desktop, Mobile, Tablet

   
   
   

6. Turn on the Disabled toggle key and from the new dropdown that appears, select When condition is true.

7. To add a condition, click Click to build an expression.
   Add the following expression to restrict the number of tickets that can be opened at a time:

8. Select Standard button from the Display mode dropdown under Actions.
9. Click Edit actions and then from the list of available actions, add Bulk Launch Url.

10. Configure the Bulk Launch Url action by adding the field expressions as given in the following table:

11. Click Save.
