De-registering a spoke server

You de-register a spoke server when the company on that spoke server (the operating company) no longer needs to consume services from the service provider company on the hub server. After you de-register a spoke server, the service provider company support staff can no longer work on tickets for the company on the de-registered spoke server.

To de-register a spoke server

  1. From the hub server, open Application Administration console.
  2. On the Custom Configuration tab, select Hub and Spoke > Configuration Settings > Hub-Spoke Registration.
  3. From the list of currently registered spoke systems table, select the spoke system you need to de-register.
  4. Click De-Register.
  5. Remove the Distributed Server Option (DSO) setting for the spoke from the hub server.
For more information, see Configuring DSO for a server group.
  6. Go to the spoke server and disable the DSO setting.
