Troubleshooting issues with Authoring for groups


Issue symptom

For a change request, on the Authoring for Groups tab, when you select Company, the company menu does not load for a long time.

Issue Scope

On the Authoring for Groups tab, click Update and try to select a value from Company. 

Workaround

  1. Open the devstudio application.
  2. Expand All Objects, double click Active Links.
  3. Expand Filtering Options.
  4. In Display items, enter CHG:CTE:SetAuthorMenu_100 to search for the existing active link.

  5. Double-click CHG:CTE:SetAuthorMenu_100.
  6. On the CHG:CTE:SetAuthorMenu_100 tab, expand If Actions (3) > Change Field Company | Menu.

  7. In the Menu field, enter CTM:SGP:SupportCompany.
  8. If the confirmation window appears, click OK
  9. Save the changes. 




 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
