Troubleshooting issues with Authoring for groups
Issue symptom
For a change request, on the Authoring for Groups tab, when you select Company, the company menu does not load for a long time.
Issue Scope
On the Authoring for Groups tab, click Update and try to select a value from Company.
Workaround
- Open the devstudio application.
- Expand All Objects, double click Active Links.
- Expand Filtering Options.
- In Display items, enter CHG:CTE:SetAuthorMenu_100 to search for the existing active link.
- Double-click CHG:CTE:SetAuthorMenu_100.
- On the CHG:CTE:SetAuthorMenu_100 tab, expand If Actions (3) > Change Field - Company | Menu.
- In the Menu field, enter CTM:SGP:SupportCompany.
- If the confirmation window appears, click OK.
- Save the changes.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
