Exporting asset records

You can export assets that are displayed in the Asset console to a CSV file so that you can view them offline. Search for the assets by using presets and filters and export the displayed assets to a CSV file.

You can export assets only from the BMC Helix Innovation Studio based Asset console. For more information about how to enable the BMC Helix Innovation Studio based Asset console, see Enabling-and-configuring-the-Asset-console.

To export asset records

  1. From the main menu, select Console > Asset console.
  2. Perform one of the following steps:
    • To export a list of all the assets displayed in the Asset console, click Export and then click CSV image2023-3-3_15-46-50.pngunder Export all rows.
    • To export a list of selected assets, first select the check boxes in the asset rows, click Export, and then click CSV under Export selected rows.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
