Troubleshooting permissions issues in BMC CMDB

To assign Allow Delete permission to delete attributes

Symptom: Specific user profiles receive the following error:

Form does not allow non-admin to delete. Null

Scope: Occurs when users belonging to the RE Definition Author or AI Admin Group delete any attribute for completeness on the Configure Completeness page.

Workaround: Assign the Allow Delete permission. Perform the following:

  1. Log in to Developer Studio with Administrator permissions.
  2. Select File > Switch Mode >
    Base Development.
  3. In the AR System Navigator pane,
    select Forms.
  4. Open the CMDB:Dashboard:
    Completeness_Configuration
form, and click the Definitions tab.
  5. Click Basic.
  6. Select Allow Delete.
  7. Save the form.
