Using the HR Leave Console
Overview
Tracking leave entries in Field Service Management ensures Dispatcher/Managers have a clear view of employee availability. This enables informed decisions on workload distribution, project scheduling, and staffing needs.
From an operational perspective, leave plays an important role in work order planning. When a user is on leave, the system can be configured to automatically reassign their work orders to other available team members. This ensures that work continues without disruption and that no work orders are left unattended.
Accessing the Leave Module
To access the Leave module:
- Navigate to Field Service Management
- Select HR Console
- Click on Leave

Leave Console
The Leave Console provides a simple way to manage and view user availability. It gives a calendar view of when users are on leave, which helps with planning and assigning work orders.
The Leave screen provides a consolidated view of a user’s leave and availability.

- SelectedUser
Allows you to select the Field Service Agent whose leave you want to view or manage. - LeaveBalances
Displays available leave per category, such as:- Annual Leave
- Study Leave
- Maternity Leave
- Sick Leave
Calendar View
The calendar provides a visual representation of leave over time.
- The Dispatcher can view leave in Month, Week, or Day format
- Navigation controls allow movement between dates
- The Today button returns the view to the current date
Once leave is submitted, it will be reflected in the calendar for the selected user.
This allows the Dispatcher to quickly see who is available and who is not when planning or assigning work.
Submit Leave
To add leave for a user:
- Select the user from the Selected User dropdown
- Click on Add Leave
- Capture the relevant leave details (leave type and date range)
- Submit the request

Once submitted, the leave entry will appear in the calendar.
Leave can be submitted on behalf of another user. Only users belonging to the Leave Admin group can
- Submit leave on behalf of other users
- Cancel other users’ leave
- View and manage leave across users
