Folder structure of the exported articles
Each exported article includes, at a minimum, the following files along with any images, videos, and attachments stored in the article folder:
- article.json: Contains all article content, translations, and metadata such as created and updated dates. References to images, videos, and attachments are rewritten as local URLs.
- statistics.json: Includes total views, vote count, and a true/false indicator showing whether the article was generated or validated by using BMC HelixGPT.
- associations.json: Lists all associations linked to the article.
- breadcrumbs.json: Details the search path to the article, starting at the portal folder (root) and descending to the article’s location. Each folder includes its contentId and title. The title follows the same rules as the article title described earlier.
- content_access.json: Lists user groups that have access to the article at the time of export, including user group ID, name, and role.
In addition to these five files, any images, videos, and attachments are stored within the article folder.
