Strobe for Java parameters


This topic describes parameters associated with the Strobe for Java options:

Parameter

Description

MJE_JAVA

Specifies whether to enable or disable Strobe MJE Java integration.

MJE_SSID

Specifies the MJE SSID (subsystem ID) to which Strobe connects when MJE Java is requested in measurements submitted by Strobe.

  • If MJE Java is enabled, you must specify the value of this parameter. 
  • This parameter value can contain up to four mixed-case characters. 
  • Default value: None

MJE_PORT

Specifies the port number of a MJE Java server.

  • If MJE Java is enabled, you must specify the port number.
  • Valid port numbers are from 1 to 65535.
  • Default value: None

MJE_TCPNAME

Specifies the name of the TCP/IP job on the LPAR where MJE Java and Strobe are installed. 

  • Default value: None

MJE_HOSTNAME

Specifies the MJE Java server host name.

  • This parameter's value can contain up to 64 mixed-case characters.
  • The default host name is SMF SYSID.
