Strobe for Java parameters

This topic describes parameters associated with the Strobe for Java options:

Parameter	Description
MJE_JAVA	Specifies whether to enable or disable Strobe MJE Java integration. Valid values are YES and NO. Default value: NO For system requirements, see System-requirements. For MJE Java, see the MJE Java Installation Manual.
MJE_SSID	Specifies the MJE SSID (subsystem ID) to which Strobe connects when MJE Java is requested in measurements submitted by Strobe. If MJE Java is enabled, you must specify the value of this parameter. This parameter value can contain up to four mixed-case characters. Default value: None
MJE_PORT	Specifies the port number of a MJE Java server. If MJE Java is enabled, you must specify the port number. Valid port numbers are from 1 to 65535. Default value: None
MJE_TCPNAME	Specifies the name of the TCP/IP job on the LPAR where MJE Java and Strobe are installed. Default value: None
MJE_HOSTNAME	Specifies the MJE Java server host name. This parameter's value can contain up to 64 mixed-case characters. The default host name is SMF SYSID.
