Altering resource expiration date
To alter the resource expiration date
- At the top of the Resources page, click Show me on the blue bar to open the new Resources page.
- Click the three-dot menu next to the resource that you want to alter and select Alter.
From the Retention list, select a retention type:
Retention type
Description
Forever
The resource never expires.
Period
The resource expires after the specified period starting from when you perform the action. You can specify the period by days, weeks, months, or years.
Select the time period from the list and enter the time value in units in the field that follows it.
Date
The resource expires on the specified date.
Use the date picker to select the date.
- Select the executing agent from the Executing agent list.
- Click Alter.
- Enter your user name and password in the Username and Password fields.
- Click Alter again.
If successful, you can see the following message in the activity log on the Activities page:
Executing alter on agent: <agent name>
Alter execution started at <starting time>
Altering resource <DATA SET NAME> type <resource type> uuid <uuid>
Successfully altered resource <DATA SET NAME> type <resource type> uuid <uuid> expiration date to <new expiration date>
Alter execution ended at <ended time>
