Installing Integration Service on Linux and Remote Cell on Linux, IBM AIX, or Solaris

This section provides instructions for installing the Integration Service on a Linux operating system and the Remote Cell on a Linux, IBM AIX, or Solaris operating system for the first time.

Important

When you run this installer on a Solaris or AIX computer, the option for the Integration Service component is disabled as the Integration Service is not supported on these operating systems. You can install only the Remote cell on these operating systems.

For instructions and more information about installing multiple Integration Services, see Installing-multiple-Integration-Services-on-a-single-computer-Linux.
