BMC CMDB Extensions for Infrastructure Management
The BMC CMDB Extensions enable the integration between TrueSight Infrastructure Management and the Atrium CMDB. With the integration, you can utilize configuration items (CIs) in the Atrium CMDB for service modeling. The BMC CMDB Extensions facilitates the process of updating the TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server with changes made to CIs in the Atrium CMDB.
The BMC Impact Model Designer is part of the BMC CMDB Extensions. When you install the BMC CMDB Extensions, the installer determines which components are to be installed:
- BMC Atrium CMDB only install - The installer deploys BMC Impact Model Designer only.
- BMC Service Desk (ITSM) install - The installer deploys BMC Impact Model Designer and the Service Desk Integration Gateway module.
