Performance and Availability dashlet

When you create or modify a dashboard, select the Performance and Availability dashlet to analyze the performance and availability for a specific application over a specific time period. You can select a time range from Last 24 hours up to This month .

You can display the data for only the selected time period, or you can display another parallel time period for comparison. The time periods that you can select for comparison change based on the time period you selected to display.

For example, the following image displays the dashlet comparing performance details for the last 30 days with the previous 30 days:

To get details about data on the dashlet

To display the value that a point on a graph represents, move the pointer over a bar in the bar graph or anywhere in the pie chart.

A tooltip shows the details.

To navigate from a dashlet to reports or snapshots

Click a bar in the bar graph, anywhere in the pie chart, or the percentage.
In the menu that appears, select one of the following commands to drill down to a report, snapshot of sessions, or page details.
- Drill down to report
- Drill down to sessions
- Drill down to pages
The selected menu command opens your Real User Analyzer to show you the appropriate information

Dashlet requirements

The Real User Performance & Availability dashlet requires that you have at least one analyzer configured. For more details, see Adding and editing components.

Configuring the dashlet

You can configure this dashlet when you add or edit a dashboard.

Click Add Dashlet and select the Real User Performance & Availability dashlet.
Click the Configure Dashlet icon.
(Optional) Enter a descriptive Title for the dashlet.
Select a Real User Analyzer that corresponds to the object or page for which you want to display information.
If you don't see the Analyzer you need, you can add it in Component Management. See Adding and editing componentsfor more details.
Select a Metric: Availablity or Performance.
(Performance only) Select a Real User Analyzer Watchpoint corresponding to the object or page for which you want to display information.
Select a Time Range for the information that you want to show. The default is This week.
From the Compare to list, select a comparison to show comparative data or select No comparison. The available options change according to the selected Time Range.
Select the height of the dashlet row: 1X, 2X, 3X, or 4X.
The value of X is approximately 100 pixels. The default height is 3X.
Click Save.
