Enhancements

Message Queue monitoring

Match messages according to the search criteria priority

The KM now enables you to match a single search criterion from the search criteria list. You can define the priority of search criteria in the Search Criteria List for Prioritization field. The KM stops processing search criteria when it finds the first matched message.

For example, if the Search Criteria List for Prioritization field contains Criterion1, Criterion3, Criterion4, and Criterion2 then the messages are matched in the same order.

Providing details of all the search criteria is not mandatory. You can enter only the search criteria that you want to consider for the matching order.

For information about how to configure this option, see Configuring-iSeries-remote-host.

Generate a matched messages report

You can now generate a report of the messages that match the defined search criteria in the configured message queue. You can also set the maximum number of messages that must be displayed in the report after the defined search criteria is met.

For information about how to configure and generate this report in the Message Queue monitor type, see Configuring-iSeries-remote-host

Set the Maximum Severity of messages in the Message Queue configuration

The KM now enables you to set the maximum severity of the selected messages. You can specify a number between 0 and 99 to indicate the maximum severity level on which to filter the messages.

Generate History Log message reports

You can now generate a report of the System Value Changes, Critical Abended Jobs, and Abnormally Ended Jobs in the History Log monitor type.
