The PATROL for TrueSight Self-Monitoring KM provides a detailed view of the TrueSight environment activity over time so that you can detect problems, optimize systems, and analyze trends.

Administrator

Administrators are responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the PATROL for TrueSight Self-Monitoring KM implementation.

Some of the tasks executed by an Administrator are:

  • Install and upgrade the product
  • Create users or configure the KM, create and assign roles and access groups to users
  • Ensure that the PATROL for TrueSight Self-Monitoring KM environment remains healthy over time, and uses the self-monitoring capabilities provided by the KM

End User

End Users of the PATROL for TrueSight Self-Monitoring KM can represent a variety of different roles, such as IT Operations user, Technology Specialist, and Solution Administrator.

They usually do not execute tasks with PATROL for TrueSight Self-Monitoring KM, but rather access and consume results of the KM, such as the reports or graphs generated by the KM.

Support
