OracleStatus
The OracleStatus parameter shows the current status of the instances on the Oracle Server. This parameter ignores instances in blackout mode to prevent false alarms during instance maintenance.
As this parameter is a "silent" parameter, the ORACLE application icon reflects the status of the parameter.
- If all monitored instances are successfully responding to a simple query or are in blackout mode, the application icon shows as OK.
- If one or more monitored instances is not successfully responding to a simple query, the application icon shows as offline.
If you deactivate the OracleStatus parameter without first deactivating the InstanceStatus parameters for the Oracle instances, the InstanceStatus parameters that remain active generate error messages.
