NSPI Proxy(MSEXCH_NSPI_Proxy)


The NSPI Proxy application class(MSEXCH_NSPI_Proxy)monitors the performance of the Exchange Named Service Provider Interface (NSPI) Proxy component. The NSPI is used by the DSProxy process to manage Outlook client Directory requests. This application class discovers successfully when the following PerfMon objects are present in the Performance database:

  • MSExchangeSA – NSPI Proxy\Bytes Transmitted/sec
  • MSExchangeSA – NSPI Proxy/Client Connection Count
  • MSExchangeSA – NSPI Proxy\Total Failed Reads
  • MSExchangeSA – NSPI Proxy\Total Failed Writes

This application class is available only with MSEXCH_Bridgehead_Server.kml or MSEXCH_Mail_Server.kml

To access the NSPI Proxy application class, open the Active Directory Connector application class.

Note

The NSPI Proxy monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the MSEXCH_NSPI_Proxy application class in BMC PATROL.
