The PATROL for Kubernetes KM includes PVC utilization monitoring, allowing users to track how much of the allocated persistent storage is actively used by workloads.  The new Utilization metric is added to the Kubernetes Persistent Volume Claims monitor type. With this capability, you get visibility into actual PVC storage usage, helping you prevent storage saturation and optimize capacity planning. Kubernetes Persistent Volume Claims (K8S_PERSISTENT_VOLUME_CLAIMS).

Enable OAuth authentication for enhanced security

Securely connect to the Kubernetes cluster by using OAuth authentication. This capability enables authorized access to the Kubernetes cluster resources. The system automatically refreshes the OAuth token before it expires to maintain continuous monitoring.

BMC PATROL for Kubernetes 25.4 contains the third-party software upgrade commons3-3.0.18.jar for security enhancement.
