MS Index Server Statistics (INET_MS_Index)

The INET_MS_Index application class provides detailed performance statistics monitoring of a Microsoft index server. The instances appear within the INET_Web_Server instance for this server.

Prediscovery

Prediscovery for Microsoft-specific applications quickly determines whether the computer is a Windows system; if so, the application is activated.

Discovery

Discovery activates performance counter monitoring of Microsoft index servers after all of the following events have occurred:

  • The Web server instance is online.
  • The Web server instance is actively monitoring the server.
  • An index server is detected in the Windows registry.
