MS IIS Statistics (INET_MS_Iis)

The INET_MS_Iis application class provides detailed performance statistics monitoring of the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) global performance counters. The instances appear within the INET_Servers instance for this host.

Prediscovery

Prediscovery for Microsoft-specific applications quickly determines whether the computer is a Windows system; if so, the application is activated.

Discovery

Discovery activates monitoring of Microsoft IIS performance counters after the Microsoft IIS server instance is online and actively being monitored. The performance counter instance (msPerformance) is created as a child instance of the INET_Servers host.
